Introduction
Mammary glnad tumors are the most common in domestic animals. Mammary gland tumors were reported in the Guinea pigs by some authors. This is the rst report of the malignant mammary gland tumor in male Guinea pig with papillary type.

Introduction
Among chelonians being referred to companion animal clinics, Shell fracture was one of the main complaints caused by traumatic accidents
Objectives
Among chelonian referred to our veterinary hospital (Ferdowsi university of Mashhad), we selected three tortoises with shell fracture and soft tissue damage for a same method of surgery.
Methods
Anesthesia was induced using combination of Xylasine 1mg/kg and ketamine 20mg/kg IM, and maintend using Iso orane in oxygen. After cleaning the wound and coelomic cavity with normal saline, the protruded structures replaced into the body cavity and soft tissue sutured by absorbable suture (3/0 vicryl). The broken carapace put into alignment and drilled a hole in both sided of main pieces through pin size 1.5mm and
then x them using surgical steel wire. The narrow spaces between pieces and holes were lled with MethylMethacrylate. Non-absorbable suture used for detached skin.
Antibiotic therapy was done using Enro oxacine10 mg/ kg IM for 10 days. Meloxicam 0.1 mg/kg administered for 3 days. In the rst days after operation uid was given via intracoelomic route.
Results
Case1, after 10 days uid therapy, was taking food normally but could not regain the movement of hind limbs completely because of pelvic fractures. Case2, had minimal soft tissue injury so returned to normal conditions without side effects and resumed after
24 hours. Case3, got expired a week after operation because of severe soft tissue necrosis and infection.
Conclusions
Our clinical study showed using steel wire and MethylMetacrylate is an effective method for repair of shell fractures in chelonian.
A 3-years-old male Guina pig with a lump in the left inguinal mammary gland was included in this study. The case was examined clinically and treated surgically in the Paytakht Pet Hospital. Clinical information and data on the reproductive history of the case were obtained from the owner at rst presentation. These details included age, breed, body size, castration, and hormonal treatments.
Methods
After a complete physical examination, mammary glands and regional lymph nodes were examined to obtain information on tumour size, adhesion to surrounding tissues, and skin ulceration. Radiological examination
of the thorax (two lateral projections) and abdominal sonography did not reveal detectable metastases. The size of the tumor was 2cm×1.5cm. Tissue section was xed in 10% buffered formalin and embedded in paraf n wax and stained with H & E.
Results
Cell population is composed of only one cell type, resembling either luminal epithelial cells or myoepithelial cells. Malignancy criteria like multiple neucleoli and high mitotic index were observed in gland epithelial cells. Mammary gland carcinoma (Grade III) with papillary form and lymphocyte in ltration was diagnosed. Mammary gland tumor was intensively positive to Ki-67 and P53 and mildly positive for ER-α and PR.
Conclusions
According to our knowledge, this is the rst report of the malignant mammary gland tumor in male Guinea pig.
